Damiani Events for July!

“Fabi World Music joins us again to spread summer vibes and head-nodding grooves! A rotating lineup of drums, saxophone, bass & other string instruments creates a funky fusion that’s perfect for dancing or lounging.

Our patio bar serves wine by the glass, local beer & cider as well as n/a options. Enjoy a plate of food from Sabores de Oaxaca (open every weekend) and soak up some sun!”

Every Sunday from 1pm-4pm.

New Winery opening on Seneca Lake—–Cane and Vine Wine Cellars

Jayne and Mike Gibbs are starting a new venture with new wines.  Owners of Toast on the Southern end of Seneca lake, Jayne and Mike are no strangers to the wine industry.

Sauvignon Blanc and Gruner Veltliner are just 2 of the less frequently seen wines that they offer.  A dry Cayuga White tops the unusual.  We can’t forget the Riesling trio, the Dry Rose , Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Velvet Noir as well as a sparkling option.

The winery has been renovated to make it a space where friends can meet and linger.  There is a great vibe!  Stop in and check it out.

Creameries on the Wine Trails

Especially during the summer, who can resist ice cream?! We are lucky to have many creameries along the wine trails as well as dairy free options of cool treats.

On Cayuga Lake, the Cayuga Lake Creamery in Interlaken offers many hard ice cream flavors as well as a food menu which makes it a good lunch stop too.

On Seneca Lake, Shtayburne Farm Creamery in Rock Stream offers cheese and ice cream tastings. Sweet Acres Creamery in Geneva has a nice food menu as well as ice cream and other milk products. Spotted Duck Creamery in Penn Yan is an organic ice cream facility and their ice cream is made from duck eggs! They also have dairy free options and gluten free cones. Crosswinds Farm and Creamery is also in Rock Stream and they offer grassfed beef, gelato, cheese, milk and yogurt.

On Keuka Lake, Seneca Farms in Penn Yan is more known for their fried chicken but they also have a good selection of hard ice cream.

There are regular ice cream shops along the way, but why not support the farmers and the creameries along the Wine Trails? Just ask your driver for a creamery or cheesery and we will be happy to oblige.

Pet Friendly Wineries

Many wineries, especially along Cayuga and Seneca Lakes, are pet friendly!!! Due to allergies our other guests may have, our drivers would be more than happy to drive your vehicle so that you can bring your furry family along with you! Most drivers will even let your dog stay in the car and catch a much-needed nap while you stay in a winery for lunch (happened to Nicole last summer!) so make sure to ask for Nicole when you book us to drive YOUR vehicle!

Cheese!!!

Did you know that not only does the Finger Lakes have great wine, but we have great cheese too? On Cayuga Lake, Lively Run Goat Farm in Interlaken offers goat cheese for sample and purchase. Between Seneca and Cayuga Lakes, Muranda Cheese Company offers cheese tastings as well as their own wine which pairs delightfully with each savory bite. Shtayburne Cheese Farm is a Mennonite owned business that offers cheese and ice cream tastings. Also on Seneca Lake, Crosswinds Dairy Farm offers cheese, ice cream and yogurt tastings. Make sure to put one of these locations on your itinerary to add a special sweet and savory snack during your special day!

Who We Are and What We Do!

Here at Grapevine Country Tours, YOU are our priority. Private tours for just your group and our driver are what we offer, no group tours. The experience that you have with us is catered to what you like and what you want, not where we want to take you. Every tour is different, based on your preferences of beverages and atmosphere. Whether you choose Seneca, Keuka or Cayuga Lake, our drivers will make sure you have the best day ever!

Speaking of drivers, did you know you may choose your own driver? On our website under ‘The Experience’ and then ‘Our Drivers’, we have a little blurb about all of our drivers so that you and your group can choose who is best suited for you. All of our drivers are also guides on the area for any questions you may have as far as the history of this beautiful region.

We look forward to touring with you!

Stay and Play in the FLX for one price!

Did you know that Grapevine Country Tours is partnered up with different hotels in the area? If you would like to stay on Seneca Lake, you may call the Inn at Glenora (Wine Cellars) and book your five hour wine tour at the same time that you book your suite! If you are looking to stay in the historic town of Geneva, The Inn on the Lake offers a four hour wine tour that is paired up with a picnic basket if you choose. If Cayuga Lake is on your list, contact Glass Magnolia Bed and Breakfast; they offer a four hour wine tour. All of our tours are private tours so it is just your group and our driver and they are catered to what places you would like to visit based on your list or our driver can make suggestions based on what you enjoy for drinks and what kind of atmosphere you are looking for. We also have an Airbnb in Geneva called Getaway on Grant which sleeps up to six people. Make sure to mention that you saw it on our website and we will cut you a nice deal on your tour booking!! We can’t wait to travel with you soon!

It’s never too early to think of Fall Wine Tour season!

Not even into Spring yet and here is Nicole talking about FALL!!! Believe it or not, we do have a few bookings already for the fall season! Now is the time to call, especially for Labor Day Weekend or Columbus Day Weekend. We have vehicles suitable for groups of one to eleven people and we also offer the option to drive your vehicle if you would rather travel in the comfort of your own car. Our rates are based on where we pick you up at, how many people and if we have the date available. The Finger Lakes is beautiful any time of year, but the fall season here is just spectacular with the way the water shimmers, the leaves are changing color and the grapes are being harvested.
